I was raised in a Christian home in Berry Alabama. My dream was to be
involved in law enforcement. I did not have a great desire to become a business
man. After graduating from the University of Alabama, I worked for the Federal
Bureau of Investigation in Washington D.C. for about six years. I then decided
to fill out a transfer resignation to the state of Alabama, which was denied. I
therefore resigned from the FBI and moved back to Alabama.
Back home, I bought some land and was trying to build a house. Because I was
unemployed, I could not have my house financed. I decided to look for a job in
either real estate or automobile business. I soon realized that real estate was
out of hand because I would have to go back to school and acquire a license. I
then went all over town trying to find a job in an automobile business, but no
one would hire me because of my previous employment record.
In 1977, after many trials and disappointments, I finally got a salesman
position at Paul Bear Bryant Motors, a Crysler, Plymouth, Mazda, and Volsvagen
dealership. After only 60 days, I became the salesman of the month. Since
then, I have worked for eight different dealerships, and won many awards.

I am currently the president chairman of C.T. Taylor Auto Sales L.L.C. I am happily married to
my beautiful wife Eunice, and have beautiful children. I attend the Double
Portion Church where I play the bass. I thank God for bringing me this far. I
never had a bad day!
